Four shared days, and it pays to know which
Monday to Thursday there are people at both ends. Sunday is a working day there and not here; Friday is the other way round; on Saturday nobody is anywhere. That split is the project's real diary, and it costs far less drawn up front than discovered halfway.
Nothing goes live if nobody is left watching
A release needs hours of watching behind it. If it ships before a day off on either side, whatever breaks stays broken until somebody comes back. That is why the things that matter go out early in the shared stretch, never at the end.
A release freeze is not a stop-work order
A freeze means nothing new reaches production, not that the team downs tools. Work carries on in branches and queues up for the first good day. What matters is that those dates are written down and known on both sides, rather than assumed.
Shipping the code and switching it on are two acts
If you separate deployment from activation, code can travel any day and the visible change is switched on when someone is around to answer. A flag per feature turns a rollback into one click. Laravel or Next.js makes no difference: it is a process decision, not a technical one.
