How we work in Geneva
Who can publish is decided before any code is written
With five people touching the site, the question that matters is not which CMS we use but what each of them can put in front of the public without asking anyone. We define that with you at the start, based on what each person actually does rather than on their job title, and the configuration follows from it. The other way round does not work: hand out the accounts first and sort it out later means sorting it out never.
An editor should not be able to break the layout
The panel shows bounded fields, not a free-form box where anyone can paste the formatting out of a Word document. Every content type has its own pieces and its own limits, so whoever writes deals with the text and the layout holds up on its own. Laravel or Next.js depending on what the project needs, with the same criterion in both.
Three states: draft, in review, published
Seven-step workflows start being dodged a week after they launch. Three states and one approver per content type is enough for almost any company, and anything that does not fit that scheme is worth examining before the scheme is made more complicated. If your case genuinely needs more, it gets added later, once the system is running.
Switzerland is outside the European Union
The service is invoiced as an export, so the invoice carries no Spanish VAT. We are paid by transfer in euros or Swiss francs and we prepare whatever documentation your accountant asks for. Anything affecting where the data lives, or which agreements are needed, you confirm with your own adviser: we build whatever they decide, we do not advise on it.
