How we work in Warsaw
Conventions are agreed before the first line
Folder structure, naming, style, what gets tested, how commit messages are written and how branches are named. It is a short document and a one-hour meeting. Without it, every code review turns into an argument about taste that neither team wins.
Code review in both directions
What we write is reviewed by someone on your team before it is merged, and we will review yours if you want. The first weeks are slower and the comments pile up: that is normal, and it is worth saying out loud, because otherwise it reads as somebody not being up to the job.
Your repository, your branches
We do not set up a separate repository to be merged at the end. We work inside yours and follow your workflow, even when it is not the one we would pick on our own. Three months of parallel development always end in an integration that costs more than the feature itself, and that nobody wants to review because it arrives all at once.
Intra-EU invoice, no Spanish VAT
Poland is in the European Union: with your intra-EU VAT number the invoice goes out under the reverse charge, with no Spanish VAT. We charge in euros by SEPA transfer. Whatever happens afterwards between the euro and the zloty is your accountant's business, not ours.
