Five states per element, not one
Default, hover, focus, pressed and disabled. Plus loading, for anything that depends on the server. Most projects only draw the first and leave the rest to whatever the browser happens to do. Keyboard focus is designed separately and with enough contrast to be seen, because some people navigate that way.
One hundred milliseconds is the threshold
An action that gives feedback in under a tenth of a second feels instant. Above that, people hesitate and click again. So the interface confirms before the server replies and rolls the change back if it fails, and the button stays locked while a request is in flight.
Named components, not screenshots
States live inside documented components, with a name and a stated use. A new page then inherits the finish instead of reinventing it, and two different people produce the same thing. When the detail lives in a design file and not in code, it is lost quickly.
Euros with no exchange, an export invoice
Monaco uses the euro but is not part of the European Union. It is an unusual combination with a practical consequence: the service is invoiced as an export, without Spanish VAT, and at the same time it is charged in euros, with no currency conversion fee. What that means for your books is for your accountant to confirm.
