An inventory of what leaves your website
The site is opened, the requests going out to other people's domains are listed, and each one is given a name: what it sends, to whom and from which pages. On most sites at least one turns up that nobody remembers adding and that today serves absolutely no one.
Collecting less is also a recommendation
Data nobody ever looks at is maintenance cost and exposed surface with nothing in return. Part of the deliverable is usually the list of what to switch off, with who used it before and why they stopped. It is the part of the plan people are most grateful for six months later.
No tool we recommend pays us
We are nobody's partner and we take no commission for recommending anything. It matters especially when the subject is analytics, where the catalogue is enormous and almost every comparison you will find is signed by someone who sells one of them. Sometimes the conclusion is that what you already have is enough.
The legal side is your adviser's job
We describe what your site collects, where it goes and what technical alternatives exist. Whether that fits your situation is for your legal adviser to say, not us: we are not Belgian lawyers and pretending to be would be the worst possible favour. The report is written so that they can read it.
