Scope is closed in one long session
One well-prepared session of two or three hours closes more than eight half-hour calls spread across a month. We come out of it with what is in, what is out and why, written down and agreed. Reopening scope halfway is what turns a three-month MVP into a seven-month one.
Assumptions get written down and keep running
When a minor question comes up we don't stop: we write down the assumption we will follow, the reason for it and the deadline for contradicting it. If you say nothing before that date it stands, and it is on the record in writing. That way a small decision stops costing a whole calendar day every time.
Every Friday, the number of open decisions
We publish how many decisions are waiting on you and since when. It is a deliberately uncomfortable number, because it is the one that best predicts whether the MVP will land on time. Development hours are almost never the problem; what has sat still for a fortnight is.
This isn't throwaway technology
Laravel, React and React Native, the same base we use on projects still growing years later. It is handed over documented and with the conventions explained, so an Australian team can carry it on without depending on a time zone that works against them.
