One page saying what you are testing
Before the first line of code we write down together which hypothesis is being validated, what result would kill it and what is out of scope. It fits on one page. On a project in the same city that document can be improvised in the corridor; with one hour of overlap a day and no document, the MVP turns into an endless conversation.
The demo is recorded, not performed live
Each delivery arrives as a short video showing the real state of the product, plus an environment where you can try it yourselves. You watch it as your day starts, with time to think, and the shared hour goes to your objections. A live demo at nine in the morning Vancouver time is the worst possible moment to decide anything.
You run the user interviews
Your users are available in Pacific hours and we are not. We prepare the script and the questions, we build the measurement into the product, and you run the sessions and send them over recorded with a written summary. It is not offloading work: being there is not possible and pretending otherwise would be worse.
A prototype and an MVP are not the same thing
If what you need is a clickable mock-up to show an investor, that costs considerably less, takes weeks and does not need bringing to Spain: a designer in Vancouver will do it better and closer to you. An MVP is software that genuinely works, in front of real users. We do the second one.
