How we work in Copenhagen
Google is rarely what brings the traffic down
When a site loses half its visits from one month to the next, an algorithm update is not the usual explanation. It is a redesign that changed the addresses without redirecting them, turned the headings into images or buried the H1 inside a carousel. Checked in one afternoon before publishing, it costs nothing.
The semantics live inside the component
If the heading component emits a real h2 and not a div with large type, the hierarchy holds by itself across the three hundred pages that use it. If every template decides on its own, two years later some pages have four top-level headings and others have none.
Ten impressions in three months: that is the starting point
Over the last ninety-two days Denmark has given us ten impressions, an average position of 13.4 and no clicks at all. We publish it because it is the real figure: position thirteen does not get clicks. This page exists to change that, not to claim authority in Denmark that we do not have today.
Replacing a site in parts leaves gaps in the internal links
When a website is rebuilt bit by bit, half the internal links still point at the old templates and pages appear that nothing links to any more. It is solved by keeping a map of what links to what throughout the replacement, not by reviewing it the month after it ends.
