Support and Maintenance en Monaco
How we work in Monaco
A performance budget, with an alert when it is crossed
A written limit on page weight and time to respond, checked automatically on every deployment. Without that limit, each change adds a hundred kilobytes nobody argues about, and in a year the site weighs twice as much without a single decision explaining it.
Screenshots compared between versions
Before and after every deployment, screen by screen and on mobile too. Style changes break what nobody looks at, which tends to be exactly the contact form or the narrow layout. A human eye does not review forty screens every Tuesday; an automated comparison does.
The error pages get reviewed as well
The 404 and the 500 are the pages nobody tests and the ones seen at the worst possible moment. They have to load with their own styles, without depending on whatever has just broken. Ours are built that way, separate from the rest of the site, for exactly that reason.
What nobody touches expires too
Certificates, dependencies with known flaws, operating system versions that stop supporting the published app. A project left unmaintained does not stay as it was: it gets worse without anyone writing a line. Updates are applied and then tested, which are two different jobs.
