The internal tool is in use eight hours a day
The public site gets reviewed; the admin panel gets reviewed by nobody because ‘it is internal’. That is where somebody on your team spends their entire working day. A sensible tab order, keyboard shortcuts and nothing that depends on dragging with a mouse: cheap decisions while building, and they shape who you will be able to hire later.
The widget that traps focus
It is the most repeated failure in anything embedded: a chat or a modal notice that captures the keyboard and cannot be left with the escape key. Our own rules require a dialogue to declare its role, manage focus and hand it back where it was. It sounds like a detail until you are the one who cannot close the window.
What the flow produces has to be readable as well
An automation almost always ends in a document: a quote, a delivery note, a monthly report. If it comes out as an image inside a PDF, a screen reader cannot read it, you cannot search inside it and you cannot copy from it. Generating it with real text costs the same and serves everybody.
A voice is a way in as well
An assistant answering by phone and by messaging on top of your own data adds a channel that requires navigating no interface at all. We built exactly that for TODO PLAGAS, with voice and WhatsApp. It does not replace a usable website, but for someone who struggles with a long form it is the difference between being able to ask you for something and not.
