How we work in Dublin
The product's copy is written once
Half of a product is words: buttons, error messages, automated emails, help text. In a bilingual market each one is written twice and reviewed twice, and changing a flow means running the whole loop again. In English, changing a screen costs what changing it costs and nothing more.
Before building, the question it has to answer
An MVP is measured by what it lets you learn, not by what it does. The first session is for writing down the specific question, whether anyone pays, whether anyone comes back or whether anyone finishes the process unaided, and for throwing out everything that does not help answer it. Without that question written down, cutting scope turns into an argument about taste.
Charging in euros from the first attempt
If the product charges, it charges in euros from day one, with one price and one payment provider. There is no pricing table per currency to decide and no checking how the charge behaves when a bank converts along the way. It is one decision fewer at exactly the moment when open decisions are least welcome.
The second version is decided in the first
Laravel, React and React Native, plus a handful of boring decisions taken well at the start: keeping the data separate from the interface, not hard-coding the copy and putting integrations behind a clear boundary. If the MVP works, those three things are the difference between carrying on and rewriting.
