Support and Maintenance en Rotterdam
How we work in Rotterdam
Integrations break from the other side
A certificate that expires, a key that gets rotated, an interface version that is withdrawn, a field renamed in an ERP update. Your code is exactly the same and the sync stops working. Watching an integration means watching something you do not control.
Reconciling both sides every day
The expensive fault is not the one that cuts the connection, but the one that keeps running and transmits badly. Every day totals are compared across both systems, orders, amounts and references, and if they do not match an alert fires with the detail. Four days out of balance get fixed; four months get negotiated with your accountant.
A calendar of expiry dates
Certificates, access keys, versions being withdrawn and contracts for the tools the data passes through. All of it has a date and almost none of it is written down anywhere. We keep it in a list with advance warnings, because a lot of integration outages are a date nobody looked at.
We keep the exchange, not just the error
When something fails between two vendors, the conversation turns into opinions about who sent what. With the request and the response stored, timestamped, that conversation takes five minutes. It is the first thing we put in place when we take over an integration we did not build.
