Apple and Google set the rules and they are not negotiable

The logic on your server, the app as a client
Prices, business rules and data live in an API of yours; the application renders and sends. That way a new store rule means changing the app, not the product, and that same API later serves a web version without building the same work a second time.
Every third-party library is justified or removed
Analytics, notifications, crash reporting, advertising. Each one is somebody else's code inside your app, one more line to declare in the privacy details and one more thing that can break with the next operating system release. We go through the list one by one: several stay, but for a specific reason.
A web version for what does not fit in the store
There are features the stores do not allow and sales they take a commission on if they happen inside. Having the same server behind a web version lets you move there whatever suits you without duplicating development. This is not about dodging the store, it is about not depending on it for absolutely everything.
