Support and Maintenance en Berlin
How we work in Berlin
Documented so that we are not indispensable
How it is deployed, where everything lives, what to do when it fails and who to call. Written down and kept current, not in one person's head. The test is easy to apply: if another company cannot pick up your project within a week using what is documented, the maintenance is not being done properly.
Maintenance is exactly what self-hosting costs
Your own machine needs system patches, dependency updates, certificate renewals and monitoring. That work is the price of control, and we give you the figure before you decide anything. If it does not pay off in your case, a managed platform is the right answer and we will not waste time arguing otherwise.
A backup you can restore somewhere else
It is not enough for it to exist: it has to come back up at a provider other than the one that produced it. Backups that only restore inside the same control panel are a dependency dressed up as safety. We test the restore elsewhere at regular intervals and send you the record with the date and how long it took to be up.
The credentials are yours, the emergency ones included
Domain, DNS, server and certificates in your company's name, with a copy of the credentials in your password manager. It sounds obvious until a domain has to be renewed on a Friday afternoon and the only registered holder is a supplier you are no longer on speaking terms with.
