How we work in Abu Dhabi
The price inside an Arabic sentence
In a line read from right to left the digits are still read from left to right, so any amount turns it into bidirectional text. If nobody marks where the number begins and ends, the currency symbol or a percentage sign lands on the wrong side. In a one-line ad, that is the offer broken in front of the customer.
Written to the limit, not translated and trimmed
Headlines and descriptions have a character cap, and a headline approved in English almost never lands inside that cap once it goes into Arabic: it either overflows or falls short and reads like a telegram. Each language is written against the real limit with the counter in view, and approved by looking at the assembled preview, not at a cell in a spreadsheet.
An Arabic click has to land in Arabic
An Arabic ad that leads to an English page costs the same and is lost in the first second. We check that the language of the ad and of the landing page always match, including the boring detail: that tracking parameters survive the jump between versions and the conversion is recorded where it belongs rather than against the wrong one.
Each script with its own bottom line
Separate campaigns per language, not one campaign with both creatives inside it. Mixed together, the dashboard shows an average that hides which one works and which one is being subsidised by the other. Splitting them costs more setup work and it is the only way to decide with data where next month's budget goes instead of splitting it on instinct.
